Abstract

The article is set in the context of the Jubilee of Hope, proposing the contribution of “goes forth” theology. The the article is to highlight the community as a missionary of hope, and the need to take the first step and go out into the world. Taking the first step missionary being involved and supportive, bearing fruit and rejoicing of the each concrete gesture of hope in today’s world. This attitude prompts the Church to rethink its missionary and pastoral as a herald and builder of bridges of hope. The proposal enables “goes forth” paths in its way of proceeding, of encountering those who have fallen on the real and existential peripheries (Bible, Lk 10, 25-36). It is considered necessary for the Church to “goes forth” and to have its mission field in the world, with all those who suffer from the lack of works
of mercy in order to survive. It is necessary to move from the pastoral conservation’s to the pastoral missionary, making possible the logic of joy and hope in the world.
